Diana uses a variety of strokes including gentle, firm, and deep tissue work to enhance relaxation or assist in the relief of injury and chronic pain. With over 1,000 hours of training, Diana combines the techniques of Kriya massage, Reiki, acupressure, deep tissue, myofascial, and craniosacral work to facilitate personal healing. Diana specializes in working with chronic pain and injuries as well as working with the disabled and the terminally ill. She will make home or hospital visits to accommodate such clients.

"I have had the opportunity to have many massages from various people around the world, but Diana even surpasses the one in Japan! She truly inspires trust and relaxation with her caring, nurturing personality. She has been a great asset in my road to recovery after surgery."

Ryan Krippendorf, M.A.

Ryan founded the Amesbury Center for Healing in 1996. She practices both massage and hypnotherapy. She also combines imagery, energy work, and bodywork to create a powerful, safe opportunity for healing and personal growth. She works with issues such as procrastination, life transitions, decision-making, relationships, and communication issues.

Ryan completed certificates in massage therapy, reiki, and hypnotherapy at Dovestar Institute in the early 1990s. Several years later she received a Master of Arts degree from Lesley College through their independent study curriculum. This program allowed her to pursue her interests in human behavior and hypnotherapy.

For several years Ryan taught various aspects of massage therapy at different schools in the area. In 2002, Ryan founded and ran the Solidago School of Massage and Holistic Health. For six years this endeavor allowed her to follow her passions of teaching, developing curriculum, and mentoring new massage therapists.

With the closing of the school in 2007, Ryan is now able to increase her work with individual clients and re-focus her energies on learning and developing new bodywork and hypnotherapy techniques.

"Ryan has been my massage therapist for several years. Whether I am simply tired from my schedule or have sustained an injury, Ryan has been the best. She is amazing. Injuries always heal quicker in Ryan's hands."
Joanne Hogan, Newbury

"Ryan is a hypnotherapist, not a hypnotist. She worked with me on deep healing of relationships and on finding my inner child. I lost 17 pounds without even realizing it! I became preoccupied with living instead of eating."

She specializes in working with issues of the neck, shoulders and upper back. While she has a firm touch and works with injuries and chronic pain, she does not consider her work to fall into the classification of “deep tissue massage”.
